MINERVA WISE CUT GIN - or as we call it 'bottled wisdom' - is made with chamomile and sage. In traditional medicine, these elements evoke wisdom and, combined with other traditional gin botanicals, have resulted in a delicate juniper perfume, efflorescent citrus and sweet vanilla undertones, with a refreshing finish of Native Australian Rivermint. 
 
We make this gin using premium grade grape based neutral spirit. The juniper is macerated in the pot and more fresh juniper is added to the vapour basket together with the other botanicals. We distill it to 45% ABV.
 
MINERVA WARRIOR STRENGTH GIN - or as well call it 'bottled courage' - is a Navy Strength spirit at 59% ABV.  We infuse it with lemon thyme and fennel. In traditional medicine, these elements evoke courage and, combined with other traditional gin botanicals, have resulted in an elegant juniper aroma, a complex bouquet of citrus and spice, with a refreshing smooth finish of Native Australian Rivermint.

The Inspiration behind the Minerva Gin Range
 
In 1939, the Minerva Theatre revealed its Art Deco Streamline Moderne style architecture and opened its doors to the stunning 1000 seat theatre with superb decorative features on its interior.  It became a cultural entertainment hub, contributing to Kings Cross gaining its reputation of modern and cosmopolitan living and a destination to visit cafes, restaurants, saloons, cabaret shows and theatre productions. 

These gins are inspired by the theatre’s name, Minerva, the Roman Goddess of arts, crafts, medicine, wisdom and war.
